The characters really stand out with a very distinct personality. I really enjoyed the relationship between Katniss and Haymitch, i thought it was very sarcastic and wonderful. A lot of the stuff that happens in District 13 has a Medieval-like vibe to it.
That's an interesting observation about a medieval feeling to the book - I hadn't thought of that before. I'm glad you appreciate sarcasm - me too!
